Not everyone in your group wants to fish. On the Transparensea they can see Islamorada's reefs, sea turtles and tropical fish through the glass, without getting wet. Same captain family, same dock.
Glass Bottom Boats of Islamorada is run by Captain Brian McCadie and Elizabeth McCadie, the same Captain Brian who runs Satisfaction Charters. The Transparensea is a 46-foot, Seakeeper-stabilized glass bottom boat built in 2023, so the ride stays smooth while you watch the reef through the viewing windows.
A naturalist narrates the trip, pointing out coral, sea fans, sea turtles, eels and whatever else the reef serves up that day. It's a great fit for kids, grandparents and anyone who would rather stay dry.
Send the anglers out with Captain Brian on Satisfaction while the rest of the group sees the reef from the Transparensea. Same marina, so everyone meets back at the dock.
Fish one day, reef the next
Spend a morning reeling in snapper and mahi, then come back another day to see where those fish live, through the glass.
Windy-day backup
When it's too rough to fish offshore, the glass bottom boat's bayside cruise runs in calm Florida Bay water with dolphins, manatees and a Keys sunset.
Same dock
Where to find both boats
Satisfaction and the Transparensea both leave from World Wide Sportsman Bayside Marina at Bass Pro Shops, 81576 Overseas Highway, Islamorada, FL 33036 (Mile marker 81.5, bayside).
Glass bottom tours book online or by phone at (305) 214-5277. Fishing charters book by calling or texting Captain Brian at 305-393-2029.
Satisfaction Charters is a small, owner-operated business, so you'll be speaking with the captain, not a call center. Captain Brian confirms your trip with a 20% deposit by credit card over the phone.
