- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Snacks and any additional drinks you like
- Non-spray sunscreen is preferred to protect the boat and gear
- A light jacket or rain gear if the forecast calls for it
- Camera or GoPro (especially for YouTube/creator trips)

Not your average Islamorada fishing charter
On a lot of boats, the captain does most of the fishing while you watch. On Satisfaction, it's the opposite. You and your crew do all the casting, hook-setting, fish-fighting and landing. Brian's job is to keep you on the fish, keep everyone safe and make sure you're having a genuinely fun day on the water.
He's been fishing Islamorada professionally since 1999 and runs a laid-back, story-filled boat where the goal is simple: steady action, smiles all around, and a cooler with fresh fish for dinner, without chasing low-probability "hero fish" all day.
If the bite slows down, you move. The plan is to run to a spot, catch fish on every bait we put in the water, and when it turns off, run to the next one.

Islamorada offers year-round fishing, with different species peaking in different seasons. Captain Brian has long run a custom "Satisfaction fishing calendar" for his repeat customers that highlights the best times for popular species in his area.

See the reef without getting wet
Captain Brian and Elizabeth McCadie also run Glass Bottom Boats of Islamorada. The Transparensea is a 46-foot, stabilized glass-bottom boat that takes you out over Islamorada's reefs to watch sea turtles, coral and tropical fish through the windows below your feet.
It leaves from the same marina at Bass Pro Shops, so it's an easy add-on for non-anglers in your group, or a perfect second day after a morning of fishing.

Meet Captain Brian
Captain Brian has been fishing the waters around Islamorada professionally since 1999. In that time, he's run a huge variety of trips: angler days, kid-friendly family trips, and now, more and more YouTube and creator charters.
His style is laid-back and conversational. Expect plenty of storytelling and joking between bites, but a serious focus on keeping rods bent and everyone comfortable and safe. He handles the boat, the rigging, the baiting and the de-hooking. You and your crew handle the fishing from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can you take?
Up to 6 passengers maximum per trip, but 4 guests onboard is optimal for comfort.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely. Families and beginners are some of our favorite trips, especially on the 2–3 hour Family Fun Charters.
Do you provide everything we need?
Yes. All licenses, bait, tackle, bottled water, coolers and fish cleaning are included. You just bring your food, extra drinks and personal items.
What about weather cancellations?
Safety comes first. Imminent lightning, sustained winds over 20 mph, or a forecast of torrential rain all day means the trip is canceled or rescheduled with a 100% refund. If we fish part of the day but have to cut it short due to weather, the trip is pro-rated, with a minimum charge of 50% of the total trip cost.
What's your cancellation policy?
7-day cancellation policy for standard situations, so please give as much notice as possible. Within 48 hours, cancellations are charged in full unless weather calls for a no-go at the captain's discretion. Violating the cancellation policy requires full payment.
Is the boat handicap accessible?
The boat is not fully handicap accessible. Captain Brian does everything he reasonably can to accommodate guests, but wheelchairs and guests who are not stable on their feet are not always possible to take out safely.
